Long time donor, RiverRun Outfitting & Tours offers this one-on-one, guided hunt for Eastern Canada Moose and Black Bear! This hunt will take place from the beautiful (and very comfortable) Bear’s Den Lodge near Lewisporte, Newfoundland and is scheduled for September 2015 but may be deferred until 2016 with the outfitter’s agreement on specific dates. Hunter is responsible for the cost of a hunting license and tag (approximately $540) and may choose his/her weapon – bow, rifle or muzzle-loader (no crossbows or handguns). Transportation during this hunt will be by foot, vehicle and/or quad. The hunt may be upgraded to include woodland caribou. Additional hunters are welcome at $4,500 each - non-hunters at $1,000 each. The arrival and departure point for this hunt is Gander, Newfoundland.
