About Northern Nevada Chapter of SCI
Northern Nevada Chapter of SCI, established in 1996 as an extension of the National Safari Club International organization based in Tucson, Arizona.
NNSCI was formed to support conservation, wildlife, and habitat, with a strong focus on hunter’s rights, promoting SCI's and SCI Foundation’s Mission as the leaders in protecting the freedom to hunt and promoting wildlife conservation in North America and Worldwide.
NNSCI's primary focus locally has been in youth education and awareness of our wildlife, conservation, and hunting.
NNSCI has chartered two local scout groups troop 55 and pack 55.
NNSCl's Mobile Wildlife Education Center Sensory Trailer, has participated in many Public Outdoor Youth events or has visited many of our Local Schools on an annual basis throughout the Summer and the Fall. Thousands of kids have toured the trailer since its creation, sharing in its outdoor educational experience.
