1 Hunter for 5-Day Wolf Hunt
Peter and Terry Martin of KapRiver Outfitters will be your guide to hunt the "Grey Ghost of the North." Hunt scheduled December 1st thru March 31st during the 2023 or 2024 season. Hunts are conducted on over 1000 square miles of prime wolf habitat. The average weight is 100 pounds with mature males in the 125-pound range. This is a rifle only hunt with a minimum of a 243 caliber but 30 caliber preferred. Average shots are 125 yards at walking targets. Shot opportunity is 90% with proficiency @off hand shooting being desirable. Includes: 6 nights' accommodations with meals (lodge has 8 bedrooms & 5 bathrooms; meals are hot breakfast, sack lunch & home-style dinner); 1x1 guide. Not included: Transportation - Hunters can drive to Kapuskasing or the closest airport is Timmins, Ontario (90 miles) where clients must rent a truck that will be needed to drive to hunting areas daily. Airport pick up and return is $500; License cost is $415 but are available over the counter; Required firearm permit; Trophy prep and caping fee of $100.00 per wolf; before and after hunt expenses, and gratuities. Groups up to 10 are welcome and the winning bidder is encouraged to bring other hunters along with them to enjoy this great experience. Extra hunter is $2750 and non-hunter is $1375 per week. This is a 100% donation.

1.The auctioneer has the final authority on the amount paid for any item and with identifying the purchaser of any item.
2. If after the auctioneer declares any item "sold", a contest arises between bidders as to who was the successful bidder, the auctioneer reserves the right to reopen the bidding on the contested item.
3.ACSCI has exercised reasonable care and prudence in the selection of auction and raffle items, but cannot accept liability for their use, or misuse, and makes no warranty as to their suitability, safety or function either expressed or implied. ACSCI cannot be held responsible for typographical errors.
4. The purchaser waives any claim for liability against ACSCI or the donor of any property or service, and neither ACSCI nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the utilization of any property or services sold. If any action or claim is made against ACSCI by an individual, entity, or state, local, federal, foreign or political body for any matter whatsoever arising from the use of the auctioned items, or any actions or parties conducting business with respect to the auctioned items, the donor and/or purchaser will pay ACSCI’s attorney fees and costs and will hold ACSCI harmless from any judgments thereon.
5. The purchaser is responsible for contacting the outfitter to identify as the winning bidder of the hunt and to clarify the details regarding the donation. No back-to-back combination of hunt donations. Please remember to thank the outfitter for their support of the Adirondack-Catskill Chapter of SCI.
6. If you will be traveling out of the state or country for your hunt, it is your responsibility to learn the rules, regulations and laws of any State or Country where you will be traveling to/from. This includes but is not limited to visas, passports, trophy importation, firearms, medical requirements, and legal restraints to entering/leaving a country. ACSCI is not responsible for any problems you may encounter during your travels. No refund of your purchase will be considered based on your lack of due diligence when planning your trip.
7. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS ON ANY ITEM. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE SATISFACTION OF THE DONOR OR THE BUYER.
