KOBUS MÖLLER'S ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING “SOMETHING IN THE AIR” is a wonderful piece of art measures 21”x25” framed in a custom design by Kobus himself. Not only is the artwork by Kobus (our 2014 Artist of the Year) stunning, but the framing is awesome, with lots of color and texture. A perennial contributor and member of SCI since 1991, in his 25+ years as a professional artist Kobus Möller has been published in Swedish, American and South African publications and his artwork has been vastly promoted in feature articles published in over 40 international magazines. Born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), art was very important in Kobus' family. His father was an artist, and his oldest brother, Charl, was also a professional wildlife artist. Kobus began painting and drawing as far back as his memory allows him to go. “Although I did have art as a subject in school, I learned very little from my teachers. I learned more from my father, mostly from sitting behind him, watching him paint. I am also very thankful to my brother, Charl, who taught me specific little details that I still use in my work,” says the artist.
