19.5 x 10 x 6.5 in. high, iron construction, with two ornate hinges each featuring two eagles& #39; heads, and ten decorative rosettes in addition to a keyhole cover accented with mother-of-pearl. Complex locking mechanism with a total of twelve interior bars on three sides of the inside cover which are turned by the provided key. On either side of the keyhole are the letters & #34;M& #34; and & #34;S& #34; and on the inside of the lid is what is and & #34;18& #34; over a & #34;24& #34; presumably signifying the year of its construction.
