P-17 Enfield bolt action rifle by Eddystone, .30 caliber, serial #NSNV. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 26” import marked barrel. The barrel and receiver retain a significant amount of theirre-blacked finish. Someone has written Eddystone and an identification number on the side of the action in electric pencil. It is apparent at the muzzle, on the bolt handle and on the front ring that the metal partshave been painted black during the period of use. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition with only storage wear noted and a small cartouche behind the trigger guard. The stock includes sling swivels and endswith a smooth metal butt plate with trap. The bore is fair, the action crisp and markings are sharp. (C+R) Est.: $250-$500.
