The Pennsylvania Game Commission has once again offered the amazing opportunity to hunt elk in the Keystone State. Pennsylvania’s elk herd numbers approximately 1,000 head and every year they see over 400-class bulls harvested. RMEF and the Pennsylvania Game Commission have a long and productive partnership in stewarding elk habitat in the Keystone State as well as enhancing conservation education.

CONTRACTS:
All accepted bids are contracts and are considered final and non withdrawable. Payment must be received by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation headquarters no later than August 11, 2014.
BUYER'S PREMIUM AND SALES TAX:
A buyer's premium of 3% will be applied to the winning bid purchase price. If payment is done by check or money order, the 3% Buyer’s Premium fee will be waived. The RMEF is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and no sales tax will be collected.
ONLINE BIDDING:
The person posting the bids online has to be the person who has registered for the auction.
TAX DEDUCTIONS/IRS:
IRS rules permit a charitable contribution for the amount paid in excess of fair market value. Only that part of the payment made with the intention of making a gift and for which the taxpayer receives no consideration qualifies as a contribution. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of any item purchased at auction.
