Left side of breech is marked with a double crown over "U" commercial proof, with an imperial military acceptance proof marked on the right. Right side of frame is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/ OBERNDORF A. NECKAR". Front grip strap is marked "S.Ko.I.N.33.", indicating issue to the Schutzpolitzei in Koln (Cologne).
