PISTOL WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX & FACTORY PAPER TEST TARGET. Cal. 7.65mm Para. S# 352927. Bbl. 5". P.38 semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.65x21mm Parabellum, mfg. in West Germany by Walther and imported by Interarms in 1973. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by Walther's mfg. information, above "P 38", with the S# and Interarms' importer information marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with the S#, with a "73" date code, Ulm Proof House antler, and an Eagle/N commercial nitro proof 172427 on the forward trigger guard web. Front of bbl. is marked "7.65 PARA". Aluminum frame exhibits a blue anodized finish, with steel components exhibiting a parkerized finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic grips. Blade front sight, with U-notch rear sight. MAGS: two 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory box containing one spare mag., factory manual, as well as a matching factory paper test target. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes, exhibiting a few light superficial handling marks overall. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting some light grease while retaining well-defined rifling throughout. Grips show a few light superficial handling marks but are otherwise excellent overall.
