14 bore, 9.25" cannon barrels with wedding bands, NSN. Bright finish with varnished walnut grips inlaid throughout with silver wire, a five-point star inset as thumbpieces. Gilt brass frames with barrels carved in floral patterns. Wedding bands, muzzle, barrel carvings all show gilt highlights. Fancy flat swan-neck cock with bass ovoid pan and fence. Ownership attributions engraved on counterpanes, but have mostly worn away. **Good condition overall. Barrels have a medium pewter patination with some scattered oxidation and light pitting. Moderate gilt remaining in breeches and brass mounts, with very little remaining on muzzle area. Stocks retain their original varnish, with some wire missing. Actions are functional.** $3,000-$5,000
