Solid crescent with correct 1/2& #34; diameter, 3.5& #34; bullion wire according to 1861 regulations. Solid crescent with eagle insignia of dead and bright bullion and colored head. Backed in padded yellow silk with hook attachment hardware. Comes in metal case.
Good condition overall. Minor wear to lining with only minor imperfections to bullion. Gilt finish in fine condition with some minor scratches and wear. An attractive pair.
