Tom Powell is the former two-term President of the North Florida chapter of SCI and has generously donated a one-week stay at his new Pacific beach-front home in Panama.
Tom built this beautiful home in 2021 and named it Flosston Paradise. It is located within the Los Buzos development at the southern tip of the Azuero Peninsula. The home features three equal suites each with a queen bed and a double bed, and private bath. Street level has two bedrooms, a full living, dining, kitchen, and laundry while the beach level has the third bedroom, a compact indoor kitchen and an equally expansive deck. Tom chose to build investment homes in this area because “Panama is a first-world country,” with everything visitors could ever need without the risks of traveling to other exotic countries.
Fishing and other entertainment options abound. Boats may be chartered for only $250/day for four passengers. Nearby Cambutal Town has multiple restaurants, stores and a gas station. After flying to Panama City guests will stay in a nice hotel (Marriott or similar) at Tom’s discounted rate (about $89/room). Tom will arrange private transportation by van to the lodge ($500/each way).
Given all this package gas to offer for a large group, donor’s valuation below seems quite modest.

Not included: Airfare to Panama City, hotel, transportation to home, meals, and any other entertainment guests choose.
