Percussion Kentucky rifle made in an unknown area with no maker marks, circa 1850. Rifle measures 51" overall with 35-1/2" rifled octagon barrel in 40 caliber with rifle sights. Commercial percussion lock with double set trigger control. Full curly maple stock with brass hardware with four piece daisy final patchbox, possibly from an earlier rifle of Lancaster County, PA. origin. Comes with hardwood ramrod. CALIBER: 40. FFL STATUS: Antique.
CONDITION
Overall good as cleaned with minor wood replacement along forestock. Metal has an honest brown patina. Rifle looks and displays well. Dark bore with sharp rifling and functioning mechanics.
