Made in Germany by Wilhelm Collath, circa 1920. 23-1/2" blued Krupp steel rifled side by side barrels in 8x72R caliber with raised matted rib, rifle sights, scope bases, extractors, and sling swivels. Rifle has Collath style Oak Leave engraved coin finish action with "W. Collath" engraved near barrel joint, double triggers (front is set), horn trigger guard and opening lever, Collath Wing Safety, and hidden tang peep sight. Figured walnut checkered pistol grip stock, unique hard rubber butt plate, horn grip cap, and replaced right cheekpiece. Matching plain walnut forearm with Oak Leaf engraved cap. LOP: 13-3/4". DAC: 1-1/2". DAH: 2-3/4". CALIBER: 8x72R. S/N: 17171. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall 90% of an old reblue remaining on barrels with some edge wear and scratches. Action is worn to a silvery patina. Stock has traces of original finish with a superb comb replacement. Good bores and mechanics.
