Manufactured in 1936. Features a factory carbine 20" blued barrel with carbine correct ramped hooded blade sight and 3/4 length magazine tube. Receiver mounted Lyman number 56 rear peep sight and Lyman barrel rear sight plug. Two-line Winchester address on the right side of the barrel and left side is stamped "WINCHESTER / PROOF STEEL / - MODEL 64 - / WINCHESTER / -TRADE MARK- / -30 WCF-". Winchester proof marks on the rear of the barrel as well on the top front of the receiver. Tang is also stamped with the three-line Winchester trade mark. Walnut wood stock with pistol grip and fitted with steel checkered butt plate. Matching forearm with steel cap. LOP: 13". CALIBER: 30 WCF. S/N: 1105095. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 60% finish with flaking on the receiver typical for this era. 3" area of light pitting on the right side of the barrel. Oxidation spot on the heel of the butt plate. Stock shows several scratches and dings most notable on the left side of the forearm. Nice bore and good mechanics.
