*Prewar Winchester Model 70 bolt action rifle, .257 Roberts cal., serial #8260. The rifle is in overall fine condition as re-finished with a 24” blued barrel, ramp front and removed rear sights. The barrel and receiver retain nearly all of an old, quality re-blue. The checkered wood stock is in very good condition showing only minor handling marks. The rifle includes sling swivels, leather sling and checkered steel butt plate. The bore is very good, the action crisp and all markings are sharp on this desirable prewar Model 70 made in 1937. The rifle is topped by a proprietary Bausch and Lomb one piece scope mount with a Bausch and Lomb 2.5 x 8 variable power scope with clear, crisp optics. Est.: $800-$1,600.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
