About Professional Hunters Association of South Africa
Established in 1978, the Professional Hunters’ Association of South Africa (PHASA) is the biggest Professional Hunting Association in the world. The PHASA Hunting Auction is an initiative of our members whom are in good standing wishing to contribute to the PHASA Conservation and Empowerment Fund. This ensures that participants bidding on the various hunts can rest assured that they are not only hunting with renowned and dedicated PHASA Outfitters but the funds are graciously been donated to a meaningful charity.
Since its inception 2003, the Fund has raised more than R15 million to support important projects and organizations, with a dedicated focus on the four cornerstones of the fund, which are:
1. Conservation
2. Research
3. Empowerment
4. Social Responsibility
This is your chance as a hunter to contribute directly to conservation and empowerment in Africa, helping its people and wildlife, whilst securing a dream Safari with a dedicated PHASA Outfitter.
The PHASA Conservation and Empowerment Fund (The Fund) is a registered, non-profit company and a Memorandum of Incorporation governs its management. The Fund is governed by a Board of Directors and is subject to an annual audit (copies of the Fund’s financials are available on request).
