Unique Collectors Set! This pocket revolver was manufactured in 1875 and this model was the first pocket rear loading metallic cartridge revolvers made by Colt. This antique single action pocket revolver features a 2-3/8" barrel with hammer notch rear sight and half-moon front sight. Top of the barrel is stamped "COLTS PTF MFG Co / HARTFORD CT USA", and the bottom is stamped with matching serial number to the grip. Nickel finish with a seven shot cylinder chambered for 22 Long. Original smooth Birdshead wood grips and spur trigger. Beautiful bone handle dagger or letter opener with double edge blade and double sided possible silver hilt. Stamped "ROSE NEW YORK" at the base of the blade. Measures 8-3/4" in overall length. Pfeilring Solingen antique Cigar and Cheroot cutter features V-cut type blade, bone handles and chrome finish. The Pfeilring logo (arrow pinwheel) is stamped on one side of the wedge mechanism. "ROSE NEW YORK" is stamped on the base of the handle. This unique antique set comes in a cloth lined oak wood case with a blank brass oval plaque inlaid on the lid. CALIBER: 22 LONG. S/N: 85994. FFL STATUS: Antique.
CONDITION
Revolver retains 85% nickel finish with light oxidization spots in the low corners but overall, very light wear for a 150 year pocket revolver. Bore shows light oxidation. Good mechanics. Dagger shows light wear and resharpening, small stress crack in the handle near the hilt. Cheroot cutter shows small oxidation spots in the low corners, still functions properly. Oak case shows minor dings and scratches.
