IN 45-70 WITH FACTORY BOX. Cal. 45-70. S# 130-50030 (1973, first year of production). Per "Reference of Ruger Firearms Pocket Edition #2" by Chad Hiddleson, for known S# range 130-50030 to 130-51606, the lever pin screw is suppose to be slotted on both sides, this rifle's lever pin screw is slotted only on left side. This Ruger No. 3 rifle features a blued finish. It has a 22-inch barrel with a standard bead front sight and an folding rear sight; not drilled & tapped. The frame is blued with a smooth walnut stock set. The forearm is smooth and fitted by barrel band. The buttstock is a straight grip design with a smooth finish and a early metal buttplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Factory box. CONDITION: Overall, this rifle is in near excellent condition. The barrel retains approximately 98% of its original finish. The frame retains about 95% of its finish having a plum tone. The forearm and buttstock are in near excellent condition with minimal handling marks. The bore is bright with strong rifling.
