SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". S# 452534. Bbl. 30". Model 11 semi-automatic shotgun mfg. by Remington Arms Co. Left side of bbl. is marked with Remington's mfg. and patent information above the cal. designation, followed by "LONG RANGE" and "FULL". Left side of receiver is engraved with a scene of a duck above the Remington trademark logo and S#, with a scene of a pheasant on the right. Bolt is marked "MODEL 11". Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish. Checkered wood pistol grip buttstock and forend have been sanded and revarnished. Buttstock is fitted with a period red rubber recoil pad. Solid matte rib with aluminum bead front sight. Bbl. is numbered "447092". CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting scattered spots of light surface level pitting as well as what appears to be hardened grease towards the muzzle. Action functions appropriately when cycled by hand. Wood furniture is good as sanded and revarnished, exhibiting scattered marks and minor impressions from handling and storage overall.
