Cal. S# 204427. Bbl. 4 5/8" with serrated front blade and no "INC." in address. Mfg. 1957 (1956-1959; approx. 12,500 for all Lightweight variations and about 3,700 in this early configuration) with serrated ejector rod head, flat loading gate, natural alloy cylinder frame, black anodized XR3 grip frame with factory checkered hard rubber grips, brown Martin hard coated alloy cylinder, wide bands on cylinder pin, horizontal firing pin bushing retaining pin, skinny trigger (has not had safety update performed) and capped base pin latch. CONDITION: near excellent overall appearance having top collector condition. Extremely faint loss near muzzle at high edges of barrel and ejector housing. Especially light chips of Martin hard coat at beginning leads of cylinder notches. Top base portion of rear sight blade has slight finish loss; balance of revolver is near excellent including bore and grips. (23-6249/NW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
