Made in Herstal, Belgium by Browning, circa 1958. These top loader 1914 Model "A" semi-automatics are some of the scarcest Browning's in the U.S. due to the fact that they were not imported in great quantities. This fine rifle also has the feature of being engraved and signed by master engraver Angelo Bee and will be featured in the up and coming book on said engraver. Rifle has round fluid steel blued scarce 19-1/4" barrel in 22 Long Rifle caliber with bead front pedestal front sight and "wheel" rear notch sight with Browning Arms St. Louis, Missouri address and caliber marking, which dates this rifle to circa 1958. Satin finished takedown Grade III chisel engraved frame with setter flushing ducks on right side and setter flushing pheasants on left with top having a dog holding a bird in its mouth. Right side of action is signed "A. Bee" above safety button. Action has gold washed trigger and push button safety. Highly figured walnut round knob pistol grip stock with skip-line checkering, blued steel butt plate, and rare top loading port at comb with detachable magazine tube. Matching walnut skip-line checkered forearm with single bolt attachment. LOP: 13-3/4". DAC: 1-3/16". DAH: 2-5/8". CALIBER: 22LR. S/N: T55195. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.

Overall 98% with light handling marks. Good bore and mechanics.
