Made in Belgium by Browning in 1925. These Pre-World War II high grade Browning's are extremely rare especially in this condition. 32" blued Special Steel barrel with matted hollow raised rib, bead front sight, and Browning Ogdon, Utah address markings with Grade IV gold work at breech. Barrel is choked full with 2-3/4" chambers. Barrel is numbered "150314" and receiver is marked "70894"(not unusual). Blued semi-automatic frame with "Art Deco" style Grade IV gold work, gold washed trigger, and gold washed safety. Light tone walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with long tang, added white-line pad and German silver oval vanity plaque with initials "A.B.H.". Matching checkered walnut forearm. LOP: 15-1/4". DAC: 1-1/4". DAH: 2-1/4". CALIBER: 12 GA. S/N: 70894. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Overall 98% plus blue with light edge wear with light oxidation marks from storage. Wood looks to have original finish with sharp checkering. Pad is added but appears that wood has not been cut. Excellent bore and mechanics. Hard gun to find.
