***Rare Springfield 1903 USMC Sniper Rifle S/N 1512971. Rebuilt U.S. Military bolt action sniper rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, circa 1938. Features a blued finish, star-gauged 24" barrel marked "SA(flaming bomb)3-38", blade front sight,adjustable rear sight graduated to 2,700 yards, J. Unertl "USMC-Sniper" marked 8X scope with adjustable rings & lens caps, integral five round box magazine with cut-off switch, polished bolt marked "N.S." on handle,safety switch on bolt, serrated trigger, two barrel bands with bayonet lug, brown leather sling stamped "GHY", checkered metal trapdoor buttplate, full smooth walnut forend and pistol grip shoulder with circle 'P" & "S.A./S.P.G." cartouche. Scope is in very good condition with clear optics and light wear on body from scope rings. Serial number is engraved on the top of the bolt. Rifle retains approximately 85% of it'sarsenal refinish with light even wearing and surface rust emerging on triggerguard. Action is smooth, bore is pristine, and wood stocks are extra fine. Condition is excellent.
