Rare and desirable Colt Belt Model straight grip Paterson folding trigger revolver, .31 caliber, 5-shot, 4.5” octagon barrel, finely grained wood grips, S/N 49, in overall good to very good condition displaying an evengrey patina to metal surfaces with scattered light surface pitting confined primarily to the barrel and cylinder; partially visible barrel address, crisp action, no visible cylinder scene, good bore and very goodgrips. According to Flayderman’s Guide to Antique American Firearms, this Paterson was manufactured between 1837-40, in a total approximate production of only 850 revolvers; a very nice straight gripped Belt Model that would fit in any advanced Colt enthusiast’s collection! Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
