8" x 10". Receipt for cavalry equipment such as buckets, lead lines, saddle thread, chain, and feed, with Captain Walker signing for the receipt of a horse. The equipment arrived in Monterey on April 18, while Walker was stationed in Veracruz with fresh Mounted Rifle recruits from the United States, an excursion on which he helped design and order the famous revolver that bears his name. Walker would be killed six months later at the Battle of Huamantla. **Fine condition overall.
