Remington Keene .45-70 caliber bolt action magazine fed rifle “U.S.I.D. 203” marked indicating use by Indian Police in frontier era with photos and original uniform. This rifle shows 30%-50% original blue with sharp edges and goodmarkings. Shows “P” proof and “W.W.K.” inspections. The stock is also very good plus with minor storage dings and scratches. The action is good and the bore is near excellent. The rear left of the receiver shows “W” and scratched innumbers possibly Wyoming Agency? The stock shows a cartouche on the left side behind the trigger guard at the center of the wrist. The best Indian Police rig condition wise we have seen and absolutely genuine marking.
