.22 Rem Special, 23.25& #34; Octagonal Barrel, SN: RW622433. Remington Model 12-CS Rifle. This rifle features a blued tapered octagon barrel, crescent butt plate, and period fold up rear mounted tang Lyman peep sight., The original dovetail has a dovetail blank installed, vintage period sling loops, and a walnut stock and foregrip. Marked with the circled & #34;Remington UMC& #34; trademark stamp in the tang and in the crescent butt plate. Stock was refinished at some point.
***Finish is in excellent condition with very few minute imperfections. Buttplate has dulled more from handling and use. Stock and foregrip have been refinished at some point with imperfections in the wood itself along with some light scratches & amp; handling wear. Overall very good to excellent***
