Vintage take down pump action rimfire target rifle manufactured circa 1910, second year of production. Features 24" octagon barrel, 3/4 length tube magazine, factory installed Lyman dovetailed blade, ivory bead front v-notch flip rear sight, and factory installed Lyman No.1 folding peep sight for target shooting. Installed on the muzzle is a "coupling" (adapter) for a Maxim "Silencer" with interrupted threads. This same piece in shown in early Maxim catalogs. Pushbutton safety, grooved walnut "corn cob" ten grove pump handle, straight wristed smooth walnut butt stock, steel crescent butt plate. Bore is good overall, fairly bright with some frosting and loss to sharpness of rifling. Retains about 70% of original blue finish, with edge losses, handling/friction wear, scratches. Wood is very good condition with very minor scratches/dings. Action is sound. No model number, markings are crisp, two line Remington address, and Pedersen's 1909 patent. "RW" over the serial number.
