Mark and Pam Waite owners/guides of Rivers South Safaris, in conjunction with Explore! Adventures are excited to offer this big game hunt on New Zealand's South Island. Design your own New Zealand safari by selecting the date and trophy animals you want to pursue.
EXPLORE! Adventures/ Rivers South New Zealand donation for the Big Game hunter includes:
• Luxury accommodation with at the Rivers South Safaris Lodge.
• 3 authentic New Zealand meals a day, New Zealand beer and wine in moderation.
• 5 nights board and 4 full days of hunting, we offer an excellent 2 hunters to 1 guide ratio.
• One free Arapawa Ram or Feral Goat per hunter!
• Assistance with New Zealand Firearm Import Permit and securing your CBP Form 4457
• Availability of a lodge rifle rental if you chose not to bring a rifle.
• Assistance with choosing a USDA Certified taxidermist (if needed) and trophy import broker.

This Donation Does Not Include:
• Any trophy fees of animals harvested or wounded.
• Airfare to Christchurch, NZ.
• Trophy Taxidermy, expediting or import fees.
• Accommodation before or after the hunt.
• Transport to and from Lodge ($500 Round Trip)
• Rifle Import Fee (~NZ$50).
• Gratuities.
This event’s donation requires two hunters and is valid for 2020/2021. Trip dates must be set by the auction winner within 45 days of the event, we will lock your chosen date with the receipt of a trophy fee deposit ($2500 per hunter) to be applied to trophies taken while at RSS (the $2500 deposit per hunter to lock your date is applied to your final bill at the Lodge, the deposit can be paid in two installments and is non-refundable). We suggest you buy travel insurance to protect your investment immediately after your deposit is made; it is very easy and reasonable to obtain. Best Season is March through June for Red Stag; Tahr and Chamois April through June. Dates are first come, first served.

Winning Hunt bidders will receive an emailed Hunt Sale Certificate. Winning Firearms bidders must provide a current FFL in the U.S. for firearms shipments. Firearms shipping cost is a flat rate of $25.00 to the provided FFL.

**IRS guidelines require that individuals purchasing items at charitable events be provided with a “FAIR MARKET VALUE” (FMV) of the items purchased. The FMV will be listed on your claim receipt. If the purchase price exceeds the FMV, then the difference is an IRS approved contribution to the NRA Foundation. If the FMV exceeds the purchase price, then you have obtained a highly collectable item at a bargain! In either case you are supporting the NRA Foundation and the future of the shooting sports!
All firearms will be transferred through our licensed firearms dealer in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations. Any fees, taxes or NICS charges that may possibly apply are the responsibility of the buyer or winner. We are not responsible if the winner or buyer does not meet requirements. Firearms not claimed in 60 days will remain property of the NRA.
