Northern California Roosevelt Elk
Here is a special opportunity to hunt Roosevelt Elk on private land in beautiful Northern California. This donation comes to us from Jim and TinaMarie Schaafsma of Arrow Five Outfitters. Established in 1981 and based in the scenic coastal mountains of Northern California, this husband –wife team have rightfully earned the reputation of being the West’s foremost Columbia Blacktail hunting guides. Arrow Five Outfitters is offering this private land Roosevelt Elk tag and 10 day one on one guided hunt, which will take place during the first part of September 2015, during new moon and part of the rut! The hunt season dates have not been finalized at time of printing. Please contact Outfitter to discuss specific dates for the hunt. This opportunity is not available for an alternate year. Donation includes trophy fee for one Roosevelt elk and all accommodations in a house during the hunt. The hunter is responsible for the hunting license and tag for approximately $750.00. The arrival and departure point for this hunt will be Eureka/Arcata airport, where the Outfitter will pick you up. It is hunter’s choice of rifle or bow. A non-hunter is welcome at $100.00/day, but please notify Outfitter well in advance. Check out their website and see what positive words Jim Shockey has to say about the Outfitter.
