Russian Tokarev SVT-40 semi-auto rifle, 7.62 x 54R caliber, serial #1190. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 26” barrel including a 2” muzzle break. The barrel features a hooded front and militarytangent style rear sights. The barrel and the receiver retain the majority of their blued finish with only storage and handling marks noted. The front ring is Russian proofed with the star emblem and dated 1942. The receiver is marked made in Russia and import marked. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition showing only handling marks, a smooth steel butt plate and an OD green canvas military sling. The bore isvery good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. All visible numbers, including the stock are matching. Considered the Russian version of the US Garand, the SVT-40 is a desirable World War II era battle rifle thatis becoming scarce in high condition like this example. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
