Russian USSR Navy Officer Dagger Hanger and Belt in Mint Condition! The dagger measures approx. 13.5" (34 cm) when in scabbard; the blade is approx. 8.5 inch long. The scabbard is wrapped in black leather. The grip is in medium-toned Bakelite. The dagger?s design is very similar to the standard Soviet military daggers, but it has a few distinct differences. The brass fittings do not have a lacquer coating found on the Soviet daggers from the 1970s-80s. The artwork of the sailing ship, in particular the rigging, is different than on the Soviet models. The Blade shows 1992 date and looks like please refer to pictures to make your own determination of authencity as we do not have COA The pommel displays the appropriate Russian national emblem of the double-headed eagle instead of the Soviet emblem. There is a star on the top of the pommel.
