Smith & Wesson 1st Model Hand Ejector Double Action Revolver (Triplelock), #5611, .455 cal., 6.5'' barrel, blue finish, unmarked factory diamond checkered walnut grips with brass S&W medallions and lanyard loop in butt, fixed sights, with matching numbered cylinder and barrel. Shipped April 1, 1915, to Wilkinson Sword, Ltd., London, England, with factory letter signed by S&W Historian Roy G. Jinks. Factory letter verifies blue finish, 6.5'' barrel, and checkered walnut grips. Condition is fine to near excellent retaining approx. 90% thinning factory blue, with ''(crown)/V'' proofmarks, as well as London proofmarks, to frame, barrel and cylinder. Mid-1950's Release from British Service markings to right side of barrel. Trigger with added trigger shoe. Grips with some wear. Good action, bright bore. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (C&R/PPT)
