Excellent Smith & Wesson Model 24-3 1950 .44 Target Reintroduction Double Action Revolver, #ABZ6989, .44 S&W Spec. cal., 4'' barrel, blue finish; Goncalo Alves target grips with S&W medallions. Also featuring a Baughman front sight, square-notched micrometer click adjustable rear sight; color case hardened target hammer and serrated trigger. In two-piece blue ''Bangor Punta'' box; end label is not legible. Included is a sealed cleaning kit with screwdriver, owner's manual, parts list, and other misc. factory paperwork. Approx. 99% original blue finish remains and metal surfaces are in excellent as new condition overall. Bottom of triggerguard with one very small spot of finish loss; cylinder has been turned very little with only a slight thin index line. Case colors remain vibrant and factory lettering is crisp. Grips are excellent with sharp checkering; front edge of the left grip with a few shallow handling marks; right grip with small round inspection sticker still attached to the bottom edge. Bore is mirror bright with sharp rifling. Box lid with a half-inch tear to one of the edges, otherwise very good showing light storage type wear. Only 2,625 4'' barrel ''Reintroduction'' revolvers were reportedly mfg'd between 1983-1984. Est.: $800-$1,200. (Modern/PPT)
