AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm (32 ACP). S# 1516. Bbl. 3". Low-profile blade front sight. Grooved rear sight. All visible matching numbers. One of an estimated 1500 WWII German-marked Armand Gavage 1940 pistols made under occupation. Right side of the gun has a WWII German eagle with a party symbol in three places. Blued finish. Checkered black hard rubber grips with AG logo. MAGS: one 6-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: aftermarket black hard case. CONDITION: grips show moderate checkering and handling wear. Metal retains 92% of its original blue, with a couple of patches of oxidation on the right side of the slide, some further light oxidation, some light dings, and edge wear. Safety is stiff but functional. Safety and trigger function properly when hand-cycled. Very good bore with strong rifling. (24-6872/MJC). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
