4-DAY HUNT FOR SINDH IBEX ALONG THE KIRTHAR
RANGE IN PAKISTAN. This hunt can also be combined with a
bunch of other animals, such as
Punjab & Afghan Urials, or with
Himalayan Ibex and Blue Sheep.
The best times for hunting in this area
is the period between mid-November
and mid-January when the weather
conditions will be at their best. The Dureji Game Management Area (DGMA) is
where we do the majority of our Sind ibex
hunts - located about 150 km northwest of
Karachi near the town of Dureji in southern
Balochistan Province The area can be reached
from Karachi airport within a 3-4 hour drive.
Road conditions are good, and the trucks we
use are comfortable trucks like Toyota Land
Cruiser and/or Nisan Patrol. Accommodations
in both areas are nice with all the modern
amenities, tv, a.c, shower, etc. Food is a
mixture of European and Pakistani cuisine.
Hunts are conducted in 4x4 vehicles and on
foot. The areas are not very tough, and most of
the time, we can drive to the top of the
mountain and start from there.
