•This is a 10-day Barren Ground grizzly hunt for one hunter and it will take place in Nunavut Territory, Canada.
•This Canada CITES exportable Barren Ground Grizzly hunt may be taken during spring 2025 or 2026.
•Canada North Outfitting pioneered Arctic Big Game outfitting in 1981 and has maintained one of the highest success rates in the industry, this is on both harvest and adventure. In 2024, the company celebrates its 44th year in business.
•The Grizzly Bears of Nunavut are CITES-exportable, including to the European Union. The Barren-Ground Grizzly is a handsome bear known for its long, luxurious coat, which can come in a variety of colors. The grizzly bear populations have increased through the western and central areas of the Arctic.
•Canada North’s clients have entered eight of the top 10 Barren-Ground grizzly bears in the SCI Record Book.
•The buyer of this hunt package can add an Arctic wolf and wolverine to be hunted only as an incidental species; see outfitter for more details.
•Canada North Outfitting will prepare a complete hunt itinerary with final instructions and gear list well in advance of the hunt date.
•Included are accommodations, meals on hunt, 1x1 guide service, ground transportation during the hunt and field prep.
•Travel is an additional cost and will be arranged through a Canada North Outfitting Travel Bundle. The price is approximately $4,270* (*price subject to change). This Travel Bundle* covers: Two nights in Edmonton arriving in Canada and departing Canada; Arctic flights from Edmonton and return; Up to two nights in the arctic hotel; arctic gear: boots, bibs, parka, mitts; meals on the hunt; packing and shipping of trophies back to a Canadian taxidermist.
•Not included is the 5% Canadian GST.
•Also not included: transportation to Canada, meals in transit and in hotel, any extra hotel nights over the above mentioned, flight change fees, flight airfare differences, Nunavut hunting license ($63), grizzly tag ($735), and guide tips.
•It is the high bidder’s responsibility to check on any international travel requirements.

Pickup and Shipping
The high bidder is responsible for pickup of purchased items in a timely manner before the conclusion of the convention. The Auction Volunteer Team will be available in the Banquet/Auction hall at the payment table to assist you in obtaining your item. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the high bidder. Our staff will work with you to find the best method to ship purchased items that cannot be taken by the high bidders. GSCO assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until full payment has been received. All hard merchandise will be shipped within 30 days after full payment of item is received.
Terms of Sale
Any bid, whether at the live auction, online or by phone, constitutes an OFFER TO PURCHASE the item being presented at the time. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf. Being the high bidder for an item requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the conclusion of the auction or directly thereafter.
REFUND POLICY
All sales are final. In no event shall Buyer seek reimbursement from GSCO and Buyer acknowledges and agrees that GSCO is not liable to refund the purchase price or any portion thereof.
Auction Procedures
The auctioneer and his staff run the auction. Their rules and decisions will be final. If during the live auction, a final bid for an item is erroneously taken from two bidders, the bidding is closed to everyone else except those two bidders. The high bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser; the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder in any auction. At each live auction, there will be pre-designated bid spotters in the audience, and it is the responsibility of the bidder to direct bids to the nearest spotter. The auctioneer and spotters will make every attempt to acknowledge all desired bids, but GSCO is not responsible for any missed bids or bids that fail to be executed.
The high bidder for a hunt or trip is responsible for making arrangements directly with the donor in a timely manner. It IS NOT the obligation of the donor or Grand Slam Club/Ovis to contact the high bidder. The high bidder is responsible for following the same procedure as if the hunt or trip had been booked directly with the provider.
Online Bidding
All online bidders will be required to pay a 5% buyer’s premium with a $250.00 Cap plus an additional 4% credit card administrative fee.
You will be asked to provide the following information: full name, email address, billing address, phone number, credit card number which an address verification system (avs) is completed. Items purchased through the online auction will be shipped by a GSCO representative and shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.
All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from GSCO auction team for verification.
HUNTS
Although GSCO has used its reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts and trips, it has no control over the operation of the donor and cannot and does not guarantee that the hunt or trip will be to the Buyer’s satisfaction. The Buyer understands and agrees that it is his/her responsibility to make all arrangements for hunt or trip dates, including travel and completion of filing of all necessary documents, including applications for licenses and permits. GSCO cannot guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during a hunt. Some hunts are subject to VAT and GST tax liabilities, which sometimes are due and payable before the hunt can be taken. Buyer understands and agrees that GSCO is not responsible for these fees and that it is the Buyer’s responsibility to pay these fees unless other arrangements are made with the donor.
In no event shall GSCO, its directors, officers, agents, employees, or representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages however causes and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way or form out of the Buyer’s purchase of trips, hunts, goods, services, or anything else purchased by Buyer at auction.
FIREARMS
Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws. GSCO will ship the firearm through a Firearms License (FFL) holder, at the expense of the purchaser, to a Firearms License (FFL) holder of your choice after the event.
