LOCK DA REVOLVER. Cal. 44 S&W Spl. S# 6473. Bbl. 6 1/2" round with blade sight. Six-shot fluted cyl. A third lock at the crane, giving it its unique name. Five-screw action with a pinned bbl. and shrouded ejector rod. Blue finish with a case-colored hammer and trigger. The trigger is fitted with an aftermarket-wide shoe. The butt of the gun near the serial number has a star factory rework mark. Two-piece walnut diamond checkered square butt service grips with S&W medallions. 15,375 mfg. 1907-15. CONDITION: over 80% lightly worn, reblued finish showing muzzle and carry wear with scattered handling marks. Grips have an age-darkened, worn appearance with dents and marks.
