QUALITY PLAIN FINISHED SIDELOCK EJECTOR SINGLE TRIGGER GAME GUN. Cal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4". S# 04. The 27-5/8" chopper lump barrels are very finely struck and finished and have slightly raised flat matted rib. Maker's name and address (Bozzolo, Mantua) are engraved on tops. Barrel flats are stamped with 1979 Italian nitro proofs for 2-3/4" chambers, S# and maker's name and address. Bottoms of barrels are stamped with choke information and engraved "SPECIAL STEEL". Coin finished sidelock action features non-automatic safety ("SEGURA" engraved), bushed strikers, engraved tumbler end cocking indicators and single non-selective mechanical trigger. Action is exceptionally well filed and has light border engraving of very well cut small scroll. Maker's name is on left lockplate and address along with "MADE IN ITALY" is on right. Matching trigger guard is gold inlaid with monogram "DAF". No engraver's signature is found. Pistol grip buttstock of very nicely fiddle figured and lightly streaked European walnut measures 14-1/2" over thin brown leather covered pad. Closely spaced point pattern checkering is on semi-diamond grip. Matching small beavertail ejector forend has Anson release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .726. L .725.
