Limited Production Smith & Wesson Model 60-1 ''Ashland'' Chief's Special Double Action Revolver, #ALU1742, .38 Spec. cal., 2'' barrel, stainless steel, factory checkered round butt walnut grips with S&W medallions, checkered hammer, smooth trigger, tall ramped front sight and adjustable rear sight. In blue S&W cardboard box with partial end label, cleaning accessories, screwdriver, owner's manual, other misc. factory paperwork, and S&W packing paper. Condition is fine showing normal signs of light range use. Metal with a few scattered light scratches and small handling marks; cylinder with a thin index line. Factory lettering is clear and well defined. Grips with a few small and shallow impressions with an even color and finish; checkering is sharp. Action is crisp, bore is bright. Box shows moderate storage wear; left side of end label that contains the serial number is missing, the remaining piece under ''features'' has ''AS'' written in pen and a ''Special Order'' 5137 printed on the box. One of approx. 660 revolvers that were produced in 1986 for Ashland Shooters Supply. Est.: $600-$900. (Modern/PPT)
