.223 caliber, 23.75" barrel, S/N 93961. Blued finish with checkered forend and grip. Blade front sight. Engraved on bottom of magazine with "Capt.Jay Banks". Fitted with Weaver K4-E scope. A July, 1985 letter from Jay Banks states that this rifle was used by him during the "hostages" era of his career. **Good condition. Some oxidation to finish and some wear to markings from rebluing of finish. Some old oil build up in action. Some handling marks and blemishes to stock. Some rust scaling on scope.
