Used Savage 1899 Rifle in .303 Savage Caliber. It has a 21" barrel. The bore has prominent rifling, however it is dark as per rifles of this vintage. The rear buttstock is cracked at the wrist and repaired. Does not appear to be the original buttstock. The forearm has several marks in it. See the photos. The barrel has marks in it from either removing or installing it. The metalwork has a grey patina. Although this rifle may function it is considered a parts gun
All firearms should be inspected by a competent Gunsmith before firing.
