Sharps Model 1874 rifle, .44 caliber, 30” octagon barrel, S/N 158134 (barrel S/N 156307), in overall very good to fine condition showing the majority of its original blue finish to barrel, receiver gone to brown and silver tone, near fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings, double set triggers working at time of description; very good wood stocks with sling swivel at the rear of the butt stock and two slight crackson the right side of the wrist behind the lockplate. Adjustable vernier tang sight and hooded spirit level front sight. Accompanied by a letter from Dixie Gun Works signed by Hunter Kirkland indicating hisbelief that the gun is a Long Range #4 rifle of which only approximately 9 were made by the Sharps Rifle Co. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
