Sharps Model 1878 Borchardt single shot rifle, .45 caliber, Serial #19197. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 32” barrel with a post front and military tangent style rear sights. The barrel is marked,“Old Reliable” and shows nearly all of its muted blued finish with wear at the muzzle, light scratches and the ramrod retained. The receiver still shows old, toning case hardening and edge wear. The smooth woodstocks are in good overall condition showing wear with mars, compressions and a 3” lateral crack at the toe. The stock has two cartouches at the tang, sling swivels and ends with a checkered steel butt plate. Thebore is good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. From the estate of Larry Gaertner. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
