.50-140 caliber, 36& #34; octagonal barrel, S/N 1616, double set triggers, Marked on top of the barrel the name R. Hoch. Marked on the left side of the receiver Shiloh Rifle Mfg Co. Farmingdale N.Y.. Blue barrel, case colored frame, Long range tang sight. Walnut stock and forearm with schnabel tip. Rifle is like new retaining all of the original blue finish. The frame, hammer and buttplate retain all of the case colors. Bore is bright and shiny. Stock is excellent, the forearm has a small minute splinter missing in the tip. Overall excellent example of the early works of this company. Complete with extra brass, lead, and loading dies.
