Signed Koto period tanto (Short sword) with a 10 ¼” freshly polished blade in sira-siya along with fine antique original mountings for this blade. The blade shows fine grain and thin temper line on almost flat earlystyle. Fresh polish with minor and small imperfections. Fancy red lacquered scabbard in good condition. Very old and simple iron tsuba. Kozuka knife and fittings are fancy inlaid bronze and soft metals of goodquality. The grip is good with menuki. A very nicely mounted and early tanto. Est.: $900-$1800

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
