Join host Oscar Molina at San Jose Trophy Hunts for an estate style hunt for a monster mule deer in the Sonoran desert. This hunt is for one hunter and an observer. The hunt is good for available dates December 2019– January 2020.
This is a six day / seven night hunt that includes airport reception and roundtrip transfer to hunting ranch, all lodging and meals during the hunt, one on one guide service, full staff in the ranch house, cold beer, soft drinks and good national wines, caping and skinning of trophy and all transportation in the field. Not included are gun permit fees, full size skinning (Ask your guide for rates), shipping of trophies, gratuities, and lodging before and after the hunt if desired.
Fly to Hermosillo from one of several airports in the US. There you will be met by one of the staff and transported about one hour drive to the San Jose Ranch.
The hunt will be conducted at the San Jose Ranch in the Sonora desert where the environment is the perfect habitat for desert mule deer. The Sonora desert is mostly flat country with some rolling hills covered with mesquite tress, cactus and tangled brush.
All of San Jose Trophy Hunts are guided hunts conducted 1 X 1 by qualified guides who are very familiar with the terrain, excellent trackers and very good judge on deer size. The hunt will be a combination of driving on high tower vehicles, some tracking, spotting and in some areas from strategically placed hunting blinds.
All of our accommodations are in a luxurious ranch house with warm rooms, full size beds, hot showers, modern toilettes and serviced by a professional staff. Here you will enjoy our excellent meals prepared by a full time cook. Soft drinks, beer and good national wines are included.

• All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on hunts and services. Unless otherwise indicated, all auction hunts and services must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
• It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits. Failure to make necessary arrangements may constitute forfeiture.
• AK WSF is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between for between the purchaser and donor.
• AK WSF has made every effort to ensure the quality of donated hunts and other services. However, AK WSF does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
• All donors must provide notice on the Hunt Donation Form of the number of days of duration and available time frame(s) agreed upon in the donation along with the opportunity to hunt/fish all species indicated in the donation. Hunt donations include any and all ancillary items or services as indicated in the Hunt Donation Form and confirm with the purchaser in the AK WSF auction sales receipt and Buyer’s Agreement.
• AK WSF does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
• A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
• The goods and services in the live auction are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of the AK WSF or WSF. AK WSF or WSF makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
• The high bidder acknowledges that AK WSF and WSF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest, epidemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can AK WSF or WSF be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
• The high bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances in its entirety.
• These rules are hereby incorporated into the Live Auction purchase agreement sheets by reference. The winning bidder agrees to acknowledge and accept these rules and conditionals.
