SN: 185213 Large frame double action revolver purchased by the Brazilian government for military use, produced circa 1937. No importer marks observed. Accepts moon or half moon slipped ammunition, or 45 Auto Rim. The extractor will not remove 45 ACP cases without the clips. Features matte blued finish, 5.5" barrel, fixed sights, six shot fluted cylinder, lanyard ring at butt, serrated thin trigger, knurled narrow spur hammer, smooth walnut grips. Barrel stamped "F.I." under caliber marking. Bore appears good or better, dark streaks appear to be residue that should clean out. Retains 90% coverage of medium gray finish, thinning in places such as cylinder, showing edge losses & scratches. Grips are good condition, with scrapes and scratches, finish loss. Action is smooth with good lock-up. Includes fair condition vintage leather full flap holster
