.357 Mag. caliber, 4" barrel, S/N 261037. Reblued finish with checkered two-piece Smith & Wesson grips. Case hardened hammer and trigger. A September, 1985 letter from Jay Banks states that this revolver was used in his capacity as a Texas Ranger throughout the 1950s until the end of his career as Police Chief of several Texas towns. **Good condition as-is. Some thinning around edges and working parts. Some oxidation on hammer and trigger. Grips show some wear including a chip around the top edge of the left grip.** $4,000-$6,000
